Past Continuous Tense in hindi मे वे सभी वाक्य शामिल है जिनके अंत मे रहा था, रहे थे और रही थी इन सभी वाक्यो की इंग्लिश मे रूपान्तरण करने के लिए हमे निम्न दिए गए फॉर्मूला का प्रयोग करेंगे –

• Simple Sentence : Subect + was/were + V^{1st Form} ing + object.
• Negative Sentence : Subect + was/were + not + V^{1st Form} ing + object.
• Interrogative Sentence : Was/Were + Subect + V^{1st Form} ing + object?
• Interrogative & Negative Sentence : Was/Were + Subect + not + V^{1st Form} ing + object?

Past Continuous Tense in hindi के साधारण वाक्य :-

साधारण वाक्य	Simple Sentence
1. तुम दुध पी रहे थे।	You were drinking milk.
2. वे पतंग उड़ा रहे थे।	They were flying kites.
3. हम सच बोल रहे थे।	We were telling the truth.
4. वह कार चला रहा था।	He was driving the car.
5. धोबी कपड़े धो रहा था।	The washerman was washing clothes.
6. लड़के प्रश्न हल कर रहे थे।	The boys were solving the questions.
7. हम दुध उबाल रहे थे।	We were boiling milk.
8. वह बैंच पर खड़ा हुआ था।	He was standing on the bench.
9. लड़कियाँ परीक्षा दे रही थी।	The girls were giving the exam.
10. माली पौधों को पानी दे रहा था।	The gardener was giving water to the plants.
11. सोहन दूध पी रहा था	Sohan was drinking milk
12. मोहन गाना गा रहा था	Mohan was singing
13. सीता डांस कर रही थी	Sita was dancing
14. गीता खाना बना रही थी	Geeta was cooking
15. राम खाना खा रहा था	Ram was eating food
16. वह पानी पी रहा था	He was drinking water
17. मैं दिल्ली घूम रहा था	I was walking in delhi
18. सत्यम  हिंदी पढ़ रहा था	Satyam was studying hindi
19. गीता अंग्रेजी पढ़ रही थी	Geeta was studying English
20. वह ट्यूशन जा रहा था	He was going to tuition
21. तुम बाहर घूम रहे थे	You were hanging out
22. हम अमेरिका जा रहे थे	You were hanging out
23. लड़कियां स्कूल जा रही थी	The girls were going to school
24. लड़के बाजार घूम रहे थे	The boys were roaming the market
25. तुम दूध पी रहे थे	You were drinking milk
26. हम खाना खा रहे थे	We were eating
27. तुम पढ़ने जा रहे थे	You were going to study
28. हम अपना काम कर रहे थे	We were doing our job
29. लड़की गणित लगा रहे  थे	Girl doing maths
30. लड़कियां सफाई कर रही थी	The girls were cleaning.

नकारात्मक वाक्य	Negative Sentence
1. लैंप नहीं जल रहा था।	The lamp was not burning.
2. हम फूल नहीं तोड़ रहे थे।	We were not plucking flowers.
3. तुम पाठ याद नही कर रहे थे।	You were not remembering the lesson.
4. चांद चमक नहीं रहा था।	The moon was not shining.
5. वे ताश नहीं खेल रहे थे।	They were not playing cards.
6. बिल्ली चूहे को नहीं पकड़ रही थी।	The cat was not catching the mouse.
7. शेर दहाड़ नहीं रहा था।	The lion was not roaring.
8. मैं झूठ नहीं बोल रहा था।	I wasn’t lying.
9. मोची जुता नहीं बना रहा था।	The cobbler was not making shoes.
10. तुम चाय नही पी रहे थे।	You were not drinking tea.
11. वह पढ़ाई नहीं कर रहा है	He is not studying
12. सत्यम बाहर नहीं  घूम रहा था	Satyam was not walking outside
13. सीता खाना नहीं बना रही थी	Sita was not cooking
14. मोहन खाना नहीं खा  रहा था	Mohan was not eating the food
15. राधा बंसी नहीं बजा रही  थी	Radha was not playing the flute
16. कृष्णा गाय नहीं चरा रहा था	krishna was not grazing the cow
17. स्कूल नहीं जा रहा था	Was not going to school
18. राम हिंदी नहीं पढ़ रहा था	Ram was not reading Hindi
